Kurama + Hiei's Beautiful Day

Well... This took me a very long time. Just the landscape took about 5 hours I suppose, and the figures took um... I have no idea. It's not as perfect as I imagined it to be but it came out all right I think. The landscape is almost as good as I wanted it. It took a lot of tools to make it look right I did a lot of tiny little changes right at the end because it just looked OFF somehow. Maybe I've been staring at it too long?
Anyway, at one time this was going to be a Christmas picture... (the flower in Kurama's hand was supposed to be a poinsettia... maybe, and who says when it snows in the Makai? Yes it's the Makai ) But then Christmas passed so I was just, Oh whatever. But now it's done! So, um... it's for New Years? Maybe it's not for anything, just two lovers enjoying their private paradise without a care in the world.
Hiei's pants look weird to me too, getting back to things wrong with it... I just can't do shading on black, it's hard for me. I even made his hair really really dark blue so i could add a shadow to it. His sword, for once, actually ended up looking like metal (well I think so) And, why does Kurama's shirt only have one button? Maybe the rest were ripped off in a fit of passion. Does he really NEED more buttons? Don't you WANT to see his sexy chest? Their waists are getting a lot thinner too, even for them. What size waist is that Kurama, 20? Yes and it seems like Kurama has very feminine hips but he just looks good like that... (After all the years of drawing yaoi I still can't draw men! Just girls with no boobs) They're at the top of a cliff if you couldn't tell... (foamy water = waterfall. Does the water really foam at the TOP of a waterfall? Well it does now)
Well I had a lot to say about this one Maybe because I spent a lot of time? Even though it really has no deep meaning. It's just a beautiful day...
