Solitude

Hiei standing at his mother's grave, alone in the Ice Country.

This was done in watercolor and India Ink, though Hiei is the only ink section. I did this before I had any pens, so I had to paint in all the tiny details of his hair with a brush. The hatching and lines in his face were done with a Copic Liner, though.

I used screen caps from the show as a reference for the ice country. It doesn't look as good as the show, but I'm pretty happy with it! I made it really tall, to emphasize Hiei's solitude.
